Barbara has built-in 3-minute rest periods between rounds — the score is total time including rest (25 min) or just work time. The sheer volume of bodyweight movement makes it one of the most challenging Girls.

Scaling Options

Scale pull-ups to ring rows. The 3-minute rest is generous — use it to recover enough to maintain quality movement each round. Never scale the rest period shorter.

Strategy Tips

The goal is to have each round look similar. Going all-out on round 1 and dying by round 3 is a common mistake. Set a sustainable rep scheme — something like 5-5-5-5 pull-ups, 10-10-10 push-ups — and hold it for all 5 rounds.
