Average Scores by Level

Danny is a fast-paced AMRAP that combines explosive box jumps with push-ups and pull-ups. It rewards athletes who can transition quickly and maintain output for 20 minutes.

LevelTime / ScoreNotes
Beginner4–6 roundsScale to step-ups, knee push-ups
Intermediate6–8 roundsRx, consistent pace
Advanced8–10 roundsFast transitions, unbroken sets
Elite10+ roundsSub 2 min per round

Scaling Options

Step-ups instead of box jumps. Knee push-ups. Ring rows for pull-ups. Scale to complete consistent rounds throughout the 20 minutes without stopping.

Strategy Tips

Box jumps are the most explosive movement — do them fresh and step down rather than jumping down to save your legs. Push-ups: sets of 10 is sustainable for most athletes. Pull-ups: sets of 5 with short rests. Find your round pace in the first 5 minutes and hold it.
