Eva
Eva is a high-volume endurance benchmark: four kilometers of running plus 150 swings and 150 pull-ups. Treat it as a sustained effort, not a sprint.

The workout
- 5 rounds for time:
- 800-meter run
- 30 kettlebell swings
- 30 pull-ups
- Women: 54-lb kettlebell
- Men: 72-lb kettlebell
Pacing strategy
Run the first two rounds below threshold. Break swings and pull-ups before your grip forces long rests. A repeatable plan such as 15-15 on swings and 10-10-10 on pull-ups is better than early failure.
Scaling options
Reduce the run to 400 meters, lower the kettlebell weight, and use banded pull-ups or ring rows. You can also reduce the workout to three rounds. Aim for a version that finishes in roughly 25-40 minutes.
Hands and grip
High pull-up volume can tear hands. Stop before your grip or skin fails, and choose a pulling variation you can perform with control.
