Average Scores by Level

Glen is one of the most grueling Hero WODs — a long chipper combining barbell work, running, and gymnastic volume. It honors Army Sergeant Glen Doherty who was killed in Benghazi.

Scaling Options

Scale C&J weight to 95/65 lb. Use body weight pull-ups instead of weighted. Reduce the 100 pull-ups at the end to 50 for athletes who can't manage the volume.

Strategy Tips

Pace yourself from the start — this is a 60-90 minute effort. The clean & jerks should be touch-and-go or quick singles. The weighted pull-ups are the hidden challenge — the extra 45 lb makes each rep significantly harder than a bodyweight pull-up.
